I Found out I’m Adopted
Disbelief, confusion and anger are common reactions to finding out you are adopted. John Ceasor’s biological father died when he was small. He grew up not knowing that the man he called “Father” was not his biological dad.
Finding out you are adopted can be devastating. Questions may run through your mind like why me and who am I? It is okay to feel this way, but remember God has a plan for your life. The Bible says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
How to deal with your feelings when you find out you are adopted:
- Trust God with all thine heart
- Talk about how you feel
- Ask questions
How will you help someone who is adopted?
The World of Biblical Times creates alternative forms of biblical learning by visual expressions (comic books) and imagination (cartoons) in the Arts. John Ceasor is one of the biblical characters created.
