God Will Not Reject You
No one likes rejection. Parents reject children, husbands reject wives, and friends reject each other. Rejection can wound us deeply, and destroy our self-esteem. However, we can count on God when we cannot count on anyone else; he will never reject us. God said he would never leave nor forsake us.
We may reject others because of appearances, financial status, or religious beliefs. However, God said the world hated him, before it hated you, so do not be dismayed.
Let us love, respect, and appreciate one another; not poke fun, tease, or reject our brothers and sisters.
How to handle rejection according to God’s word:
- Think positively and focus on God’s truths.
- Have confidence in who and whose you are, you were made in God’s image.
- Even Jesus was rejected by his own people.
The Bible says, “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee,” (Deuteronomy 31:6).
